April went so fast! I think that’s because I was away in the Lake District and London for most of it. Easter is always the time of year when my family all manages to be in one place to catch up, so it’s always super hectic. For me, April is a month of eating and drinking. A lot. I swear on Easter Sunday I actually consumed my body weight in chocolate!
I feel like because this month flew by, I didn’t get round to thinking about my favourites. That’s why my April favourites are a bit of a mix of some old stuff, as well as some new stuff!
The Body Shop Drops of Light Cleansing Foam
I am actually planning to do a full review of this product, so I won’t go into too much detail here. But, long story short, this cleansing foam is glorious. Although it’s slightly expensive (£12), it’s definitely worth every penny. Especially if you suffer from sensitive or dry skin and you’re looking to even out your skin tone.
Because you only need to use a tiny amount every time you wash your face, I have a feeling that i’ll be using this product for many months to come!
You can get it here!
Neal’s Yard Bee Lovely Hand Cream
When I was in the Lake District over Easter, I did a lot of walking and outdoor activities. But the peak of this was doing Go Ape in Grizedale forest. It was so much fun and I would recommend it to anyone. But, if you decide to go, I beg you, please wear gloves. I didn’t wear any gloves, and my hands felt so raw at the end of it.
But luckily they were saved by this lovely hand cream. The best things about this hand cream are the incredible scent, and it’s instant absorption. Leaving your skin feeling healthy and smooth after just one use.
You can buy a 50ml version here, which is the perfect handbag size! Also, it helps save the bees, and who can pass up that?
Pixi Glow Tonic
This is a cult beauty product for a reason. At the moment, everyone is raving about the benefits of acid exfoliation due to it’s fabulous results for all skin types. I was slightly worried when first trying this out because I have sensitive skin, but I needn’t have worried as this toner is very gentle on the skin.
I have actually noticed that my pores look significantly smaller after regularly using this! Which is amazing because I have HUGE pores, especially on my nose.

NO7 Makeup Brush Cleanser
I try to thoroughly cleanse by makeup brushes and sponges at least once a week, but in between I need a quick fix clean to remove any vibrant colours. This makeup brush cleanser is perfect for just that. All you have to do is pump some onto a cotton pad and use that to remove the colours from your brushes. This is definitely an everyday makeup hero for me.
You can pick this up in any Boots across the UK, or you can order it online here!
Bourjois Rouge Edition Velvet Lipstick in Nude-ist
This matte lipstick is in such a gorgeous shade and has an absolutely stunning finish. The staying power of this product is amazing, but it doesn’t dry out your lips like quite a lot of drugstore matte lipstick does. The colour is the perfect nude for my lips, it’s like my natural lip colour, just better! However, if you want to rock more of a statement lip, then you can build this colour up to more of a brighter pink.
You can pick it up online here, or grab it in person from any Boots or Superdrug in the UK!
All Saints Purse
My Best Friend very generously bought me this gorgeous purse for my 21st birthday back in January (she knows me so well), and I cannot even tell you how practical it is. Unfortunately, they no longer sell this exact purse, but they do have this one, which is an incredibly similar style.
The fantastic thing about this style is it’s versatility. It has a detachable, zipped coin purse which is ideal when you don’t want to take your whole purse out with you. Also, the coin purse also has a smaller compartment inside which makes it very practical.
The whole purse in general has an incredible amount of space, I can even fit my passport in it! A good quality purse is one of the things I love investing in, and I would definitely recommend All Saints if you feel the same. And, if you feel like you don’t want to spend an enormous amount of money, they have really great sales!
Zara Watermelon Bag
I’m so obsessed with this bag. It just screams summer to me and I can’t wait to take it with me on my holiday in June! As soon as I saw this in Zara I grabbed it and bought it immediately. It’s insanely detailed and handmade, all for only £30, which is so reasonable. I am such a sucker for wacky pieces and this definitely ticks that box. I am so excited to style this, and I’m actually thinking of doing a holiday lookbook, but we’ll see!
What were your April Favourites? I would love to know down in the comments! Also, don’t forget to pin this post if you liked it 🙂
